Schedule of Play:

July 23th – Round 1 at Wollaston Golf Club

July 24th – Round 2 at Wollaston Golf Club

    • After 36-holes there will be a cut to the low 30 & ties and the Championship Division and the low 12 & ties in the Lowery and Women’s Divisions.

July 25th – Round 3 at Woodland Golf Club

    • Any tie for first place (in any division) will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Championship sites. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

Golf Carts and Pull Carts: Players may use caddies and pull/push carts during the Championship Proper. The use of automotive transportation is NOT permitted except for competitors in the Lowery Division (cart fees to be paid by competitor) $30 (CASH ONLY) at Wollaston Golf Club and $30 at Woodland GC (CASH ONLY). A limited number of Wollaston GC and Woodland GC caddies may be available – please contact the golf shop to inquire about caddie availability.

 

Starting Times: Can be found HERE. Please make sure to be at your starting tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time to ensure that all proper instructions are received from the starter.

 

Practice Facilities

  • Wollaston Golf Club: Available one hour prior to the first starting time (closes after the final starting time each day)
  • Woodland Golf Club: Available starting at 7:00am

 

Tees/Approximate Yardage:

  • Women’s Division – (5,900-6,000 yards) [par 72]
  • Lowery Division – (6,400-6,500 yards) [par 72]
  • Championship Division – (6,700-6,800 yards) [par 71]
    • Please note the 5th hole will be a Par 4 for the Championship Division only

 

Yardage Books:

  • Yardage books are available for purchase ($25) in the Wollaston Golf Club pro shop.

 

Food & Beverage Services:

 

Wednesday & Thursday: A competitor luncheon (sponsored by Mass Golf) will be available for all players from approx. 11:00am to 4:00pm.in the Main Ballroom (near 1st tee). Bar service and additional food & beverage items will be available at the player’s expense – CASH or RECIPERICAL ONLY. The snack bar will also be available - CASH OR RECIPERICAL ONLY

 

Friday: Food and beverage will be available starting at 11:00am at the player’s expense in the grill room – CASH ONLY.

 

Prizes: The Richard F. Connolly, Sr. Trophy will be presented to the winner of the Championship Division, the Eddie Lowery Trophy to the winner of the Lowery Division and the Women’s Division Trophy to the winner of the Women’s Division. Merchandise certificates will also be awarded to the low finishers & ties and are only redeemable at the host site(s).
